Before she got her Emmy Award-winning role as Crazy Eyes on Orange is the New Black, Uzo Aduba almost exclusively worked on stage. In fact, her first official appearance on television was actually on a reality show. In 2012, Aduba was performing in a Broadway production of Godspell and got to make a brief appearance as herself on an episode of Project Runway: All Stars when the contestants on the show were challenged to design an outfit for the musical.
