The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red, a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.
Years ago, I heard they were making a movie out of the popular iPhone game Angry Birds. I knew that this news was true, but I guess I didn’t really believe it, because now I’m watching this trailer for the Angry Birds movie and feeling completely perplexed. With celebrity voices and solid animation, you can tell that a lot of money went into this, and yet, it all just feels so weak and generic. I’m kind of scared to see if this will do gangbusters at the box office.
