After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s time the world knew her name…
Marvel’s TV track record is spotty and all over the place. I was bored by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I really enjoyed Daredevil. I thought Agent Peggy Carter was decent, but it didn’t blow me away. And now…wow. I did not expect this. I mean, I should have been able to predict that Jessica Jones would be awesome based on Daredevil‘s quality, but damn, I think this might just be better. I’m getting a serious Buffy vibe here, guys, and that’s a very good thing. And man, David Tennant looks terrifying! I can’t wait to see the inevitable Daredevil crossover, too.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones comes out on November 20, 2015.
