We’re starting to reach that point in a movie’s marketing campaign where I begin to stop watching the new trailers and clips for fear that I’ll spoil too much of the movie for myself. But watching this new TV spot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, I’m struck by how little of the film’s third act has been shown. I mean, they’ve probably shown us quite a bit of it, but the only two things that I’m sure happen in the second half of the movie are X-wing battle on the snowy planet (complete with trench) and the lightsaber duel in the forest. Although I do have this sneaking suspicion that the shot of Luke’s hand on R2 is the final shot of the movie. Only one way to find out!
