Wrath of Beyond

Everyone was up in arms over the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond, what with its dirt-bike-jumping action and Fast & Furious–esque wackiness. But one thing that really seems to have pissed people off was the use of the Beastie Boys track Sabotage as the soundtrack. It’s an odd thing to take issue over, but I can understand it – The Beastie Boys do not evoke Star Trek unless they’re singing about a pinch on the neck from Mr. Spock. Anyway, to prove how silly all of this is, Youtuber EC Henry remade the trailer for The Wrath of Khan using the same music. The results are…well, they’re actually kind of awesome, I think. But I’m still not into Star Trek Beyond.
