If you’re wondering what compelled Kylo Ren to join the dark side in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, I think we finally have our answer: overpriced mayonnaise packets. The preceding photo features a teenage Adam Driver while he was attending Mishakawa High School in Indiana. It was recently uncovered from the archives of the South Bend Tribune. On what I’m presuming was a really slow news day, Adam was interviewed for an article in the Tribune in which he expressed his disgust at having to pay 50 cents for an extra packet of mayonnaise at his school cafeteria. But in all seriousness, I’m sure it really wasn’t mayonnaise which drove Kylo Ren to the dark side. I think it was because that band he formed with Poe Dameron and Justin Timberlake just didn’t work out…
