I honestly didn’t expect to be this interested in Independence Day: Resurgence, but this trailer really does look like it’s going to deliver everything that we loved in the first movie…but, like, with this weird X-Files-esque bent to it. It’s kind of awesome. I fully expect this movie to be ridiculous, but I think Roland Emmerich is in on the joke. And I do love Maika Monroe!
