Chinese Central Television recently aired some footage of a J-10 fighter jet destroying another jet in a drill…or did they? As it turns out, CCTV was trying to pass off footage from the Tony Scott movie Top Gun as the real deal! The video above, courtesy of the Wall Street Journal, provides a frame-by-frame comparison. CCTV has since removed the footage from their website.
