At long last, American McGee’s Alice is getting a sequel! Far superior to the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland adaptation, American McGee’s Alice gave us a strange, twisted Wonderland rife with bizarre characters, most of whom want to kill you. It’s been ages since American McGee has come out with anything, as their Wizard of Oz adaptation got derailed somewhere along the way (apparently it’s being turned into a Disney film). But now there’s this: the trailer for American McGee’s Alice: Madness Returns, and damn if it doesn’t look to recapture all that awesome, insane imagery.
Alice: Madness Returns is set to be released in the fall of 2011.
