James Van Der Beek, of course, played the title role in “Dawson’s Creek”. Now, I admit that I was a big fan of the show when it was on, but I respect the fact that many people hated it. Playing off his newfound fame, he starred in Varsity Blues, Texas Rangers, and The Rules of Attraction. He has also appeared in Standing Still, “Robot Chicken”, “Ugly Betty”, and “How I Met Your Mother”. But for a most impressive performance, check out his two-part appearance on “Criminal Minds”.
