Showgirls: The Sitcom

I just wrote a column on The Lonely Lady, a film so bad that it has been called the “Showgirls of the eighties”, so I think it’s only appropriate that I follow it up with a Showgirls-related posting. So I present to you… Showgirls: The Sitcom! It’s amazing how perfectly a laugh track and a cheering studio audience seems to fit over many of the scenes in this movie.
