Just last night, Webmaster Mike and I were bemoaning the fact that there are all sorts of great games out there that we wish we could play…but they’re only available on Xbox. It sucks! Especially considering that most of Double Fine productions’ recent games (since Brutal Legend) have been exclusively for Xbox. Now here’s another game that you can toss on that pile. Fez is gorgeous. It’s colourful, has a glorious pixellated look, and it’s in “2.5-D”! Meaning you play in environments that are presented as 2D, but that can be rotated as though they were 3D! Amazing! Too bad I can’t justify buying an Xbox just to play it.
Fez comes out sometime this year…no word yet as to the date.
