Destino

In 1946, two legendary artists began collaboration on a short film. More than half a century later, their creation has finally been completed.

Originally conceived in 1946, Destino is a short film conceived and storyboarded by Salvador Dali for the Walt Disney Company. Fearing the film would be a financial burden for the Disney Company, coming hot on the heels of World War 2, Destino was put on a lengthy hiatus until it was completed in 2003. It has never gotten its own DVD release, but it can be viewed as a special feature on the Fantasia & Fantasia 2000 Blu-Ray. Or on Youtube! I absolutely love this. It makes me wish that Dali had done a full-length Disney feature in this style.
