Celebrity Birthday of the Day – March 24

R. Lee Ermey is probably most famous for his role in Full Metal Jacket, of which there are a slew of quotable insults that he throws at the recruits as Sgt. Hartman. He has done numerous other film and television roles, but once in awhile a role comes along that seems to have been written for Ermey. I mean, could you imagine a better voice for Sarge in the Toy Story trilogy? And how perfectly creepy was he in Texas Chainsaw Massacre and its prequel? And I always get a chuckle watching him in Se7en, when he is in the office and picks up a phone only to say “This isn’t even my desk!” and hangs up.
