Ever since Ruben Fleischer’s stellar debut with Zombieland, I’ve been curious to see what movie he chooses to make as a follow-up to his hilarious zombie-blasting good time. Well, we’ve finally gotten a trailer for his next feature – a comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg but minus the zombies called 30 Minutes or Less about a pizza delivery guy named Nick who is strapped with a bomb by two criminals (played by Danny McBride and Nick Swardson) who then force him to rob a bank. Enlisting the help of his friend (Aziz Ansari), Nick has nine hours to pull off the robbery before the bomb explodes. I think this looks like a rambunctious good time, and I certainly hope that the post-Oscar-nomination curse doesn’t hit Eisenberg the way it hit Natalie Portman and James Franco when Your Highness tanked at the box office. Maybe Danny McBride is to blame here?
