In case you missed the shakey-cam bootleg of the red band trailer for David Fincher’s remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo when it was leaked online a few days ago, the green band version has gotten an official release, and honestly, I don’t see much of a difference between the two trailers. But man, this trailer is a work of art. I’ve always thought the Oscars should have a “Best Trailer” category, and they should definitely start one if only to give the award directly to whoever cut this together. Top notch editing, the movie itself looks terrific, and the music is badass to boot! I don’t even care if the movie is any good, because this trailer alone makes it worthwhile.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo remake comes out December 21, 2011.
