Here’s the first trailer for the new Tomb Raider game, simply called Tomb Raider, and y’know, it actually looks pretty damn cool. For starters, Lara Croft actually looks like a human being, and no longer sports the gravity-defying bewbage that got her so much attention at the start of her career as a video game character. On top of that, the graphics are gorgeous, and I know that we don’t actually see any gameplay footage in this trailer, but that’s beside the point, because just looking at some of these shots tells me that we’ve begun the slow climb out of the uncanny valley at long last. The action is cool, the graphics are solid – hopefully the gameplay and story will match the awesomeness of this trailer!
