Judy Garland will be recognized by children forever, even though she died in 1969. This is due, obviously, to her performance as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Her timeless portrayal of the innocent and naive girl who dreams of a magical world has a permanent place in the annals of cinema. She can also be enjoyed in Meet Me in St. Louis, In the Good Old Summertime, and A Star is Born (of which there is a remake in the works to be directed by…Clint Eastwood. Yup.).
