I can’t believe it! Nike actually made MAG shoes – the kind worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future Part 2! It’s like a dream come true! No word yet as to whether the shoes actually lace themselves, but they’re exact visual replicas and feature LEDs that light ’em up all cool. What can I say? I want them. Of course I want them. I’ve wanted them since I was prepubescent.
Unfortunately, I’ll never own a pair. Starting yesterday, Nike is releasing 150 pairs daily onto eBay – with a total of 1500 pairs being auctioned off. All the money is going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, which makes this whole thing doubly awesome. Sigh. If only I could own these.
