I always love to find old commercials that show celebrities endorsing very outdated technology, whether it be Bill Cosby hawking Texas Instruments computers or 13-year old Jack Black getting very excited about Atari Pitfall!.Well, now here’s a 1983 commercial for the Apple Lisa computer featuring an unknown Kevin Costner. Since Costner still looks exactly the same, the commercial itself actually doesn’t seem all that dated and looks like it could have been filmed within the last few years, but once the Apple Lisa and its old-school mouse makes their first appearance onscreen, you definitely know you’re back in 1983. Incidentally, this ad was also directed by Adrian Lyne, who would go on to make such films as 9 1/2 Weeks, Fatal Attraction and Jacob’s Ladder.
