Man oh man. I don’t know what to write here, because I think that the enormous trailer above speaks all for itself. Look at the cinematography! I mean, I liked the Swedish adaptation of Stieg Laarson’s story well enough, but dude, the camerawork in this trailer is more memorable than the camera work in the entire Niels Arden Oplev film. Truly David Fincher is a masterful filmmaker, and even though I don’t really consider this a remake (similar to the Coen Bros.’ True Grit, I just see this as another adaptation of a novel), if one were to call it such, I’d say it’s a remake I can get behind.
