Can’t wait for the start of season 2 of The Walking Dead? Well don’t worry! AMC has produced a six-part webseries called Torn Apart, which chronicles the events leading up to the first episode of the television show. And y’know, I absolutely friggin’ love it. What I’ve always wanted out of The Walking Dead, more than to see the story of Rick Grimes play out on screen, was a sort of anthology series – stories from the land of the undead, if you get my drift. Even if season 2 of The Walking Dead sucks, so long as they keep making little tangental webisode stories like this one, I’ll be a happy, happy Gill.
