Marvel has finally released the first proper trailer for The Avengers, one of the most highly-anticipated movies of 2012! It’s pretty unsurprising that this preview looks totally awesome, since it would be hard to screw up the biggest superhero crossover film of all time after years of buildup and with a cast of great actors being directed by the Nerd Who Can Do No Wrong: Joss Whedon. But in spite of the lack of surprise, you’ll have to forgive me for squeeing like a geeky fanboy as I watch this. The quips! It’s got the Whedon quips! I’m in love with this film already.
