Miami Vice was so insanely popular in its heyday that a LOT of recognizable names appeared on the show before they were famous. I’ve already showcased Ben Stiller and Steve Buscemi, and here are clips from an episode that happens to feature both Julia Roberts and Chris Cooper in early roles. This is the famous finale of Season Four where Sonny Crockett winds up getting amnesia and thinking he’s a drug dealer. Unfortunately, the only clip I could find of Julia Roberts is dubbed over in German, but Chris Cooper’s appearance made up the season’s cliffhanger ending as Crockett’s amnesia causes him to shoot a fellow cop. Yeah, I guess this shit didn’t seem so silly back in 1988…
