I wish this supercut from GoSwarmIt.com had been around when we recorded our podcast on our most hated movie cliches, because I think this one would probably make my list. Man, what a tired cliche the “555” phone number is – it’s so cliche that movies like Last Action Hero make jokes about it! Much like the Wilhelm scream, the “555” number is basically an in-joke that’s been overdone now that everybody knows about it.
