Mission: Impossible, Now With More Precarious Hanging

It’s difficult not to make fun of Tom Cruise these days, but I’m going to refrain from it for now, because I’m so damn excited for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. Directed by Brad Bird, director of The Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Ratatouille, making his live-action debut, M:I 4 (I had shortening movie titles to just letters, but I also hate typing Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol…damn, I just did again) looks like loads of action-y fun, and the fact that Simon Pegg is going to be kicking some ass in this just makes it even more appealing. I can see that they’re going to try and pass the Mission: Impossible torch to Jeremy Renner, which could be fine, I s’pose, but even if it doesn’t work out, I predict that this movie is going to be balls-to-the-wall awesome on a grand, explosive scale.

Mission: Impossible – This Title Is A Bit Too Long comes out December 21, 2011.
