I’ve posted a couple of trailers for The Lorax already, and have therefore also already given my thoughts on it: it looks sweet and whimsical, and could be the best Dr. Seuss adaptation since Horton Hears a Who. But I don’t think I’ve commented much on how brilliant the casting of Danny DeVito as the titular Lorax really is. It’s funny – while I don’t care much for the live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas, I think that DeVito could totally play the Lorax if this were live-action. Which it isn’t, thank goodness.
The Lorax comes out March 2, 2012.
