Before They Were Stars: Matthew Fox in a Student Short Film

The “Before They Were Stars” footage I really love uncovering is the homemade, non-professional stuff that someone filmed on a camcorder, so here is a student short film from the early nineties entitled Connecting Flight that a young Matthew Fox acted in while he was still in university. The first half of this short involving a shirtless Fox hanging around his apartment acting all emo to the tune of an endless guitar loop, but things pick up when he winds up chasing a model airplane around New York City. Lost fans should appreciate the irony of a plane playing such a major role in this film. You’ll also see Matthew’s real-life wife, Margherita, whom he married around this time period, pop at the end.
