There is one simple reason I cannot understand how anyone from my age bracket could ever drink and drive: the anti-drunk driving ads from the eighties and nineties were pretty damn terrifying! This PSA from 1991 features a young Rose McGowan in a car full of teenagers who are busy drinking beer and looking at photographs instead of paying attention to the road. However, the ad is kinda lazy as it abruptly ends before it shows them getting into a horrifying crash. A better ending would have been Rose McGowan losing her leg in the accident and being forced to do this:
