TBR collaborator Grant has made this awesome short film using only some friends, some newspapers and a webcam! I love the grainy, old-school style to it, and in fact, I think it pulls off the look and feel of an old silent-era movie a bit better than even The Artist did. Grant describes it as “A short vignette in which three bohemians fight the terrible starvation and soul crushing boredom of Orwell’s Paris in the 30’s”. And, as a bit of a sneak preview, Grant and I will be collaborating on a short with a similar style in the very near future, so keep an eye on TBR for the appearance of that film soon!
