I don’t feature Gorillaz music videos nearly often enough on TBR. I love just about every video this band puts out, and I especially love of their videos frequently expand on the weird mythology of the four cartoony characters who make up the band’s members. In this video for their recent track with Andre 3000 and James Murphy, we see the villain from the Gorillaz album Plastic Beach, we get a sense of where the band is living together, and we see Noodle’s strange windmill-ship tethered up outside the house. It’s these funny little consistent details that make the Gorillaz feel like more than fictional characters.
