You will read this in Christopher Walken’s voice.
Oh! Would ya look at that! Today is Christopher Walken’s birthday! Y’know, Christopher Walken is such a legendary actor that I actually feel a bit stupid writing a mini-biography on him. He’s played over 100 film and television roles since he started as a child actor on TV in 1953, in such movies as The Deer Hunter, Annie Hall, Sleepy Hollow, The Dead Zone, True Romance, Catch Me If You Can, Pulp Fiction, and Hairspray, and in many TV shows, perhaps most famously Saturday Night Live. Walken’s distinct voice, offbeat pauses, deadpan delivery and unusual speech patterns all make him unique, with solid acting, dancing, and singing skills on top of that, I think you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t like Christopher Walken. In addition to his film and TV work, Walken has also appeared in the Fatboy Slim music video for Weapon of Choice (directed by Spike Jonze), and has acted in countless plays, including classics such as Hamlet, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet, as well as newer productions such as Martin McDonagh’s A Behanding in Spokane in 2010. Christopher Walken rocks hard, and he’s got a fever…but the only cure for that fever is more cowbell! He turns 69 today.
