John Billingsley is a terrific character actor, but unfortunately neither Wikipedia nor IMDb list much information about his life besides helpful facts like “He owns two cats.” So instead of writing a bio on him, I’m just going to list some of Billingsley’s impressive film and TV credits as evidence of his greatness. He’s appeared in the TV series The X-Files, Star Trek: Enterprise, Roswell, Northern Exposure, Stargate SG-1, Six Feet Under, Prison Break, Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood, Leverage, Angel, Scrubs, CSI, CSI: NY, The West Wing, 24, and Criminal Minds, and has played roles in films such as Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, White Oleander, Out of Time, and 2012. Considering he’s only been active since the mid-1990s, Billingsley’s resume of over 100 credits is pretty damn impressive! He turns 52 today.
