Followers of the site know that I’m a huge fan of the Lego video game adaptations of popular movie franchises, and Lego The Lord of the Rings is no exception. The game looks both adorable and epic, but what really strikes me about Lego LOTR that sets it apart from the other Lego movie games is that they appear to be using both the original audio from the movies (I’m not crazy – that was definitely Ian McKellan as Gandalf, right?) but they’re also borrowing the cinematography! I’d recognize that shot with the characters running over the bridge in the Mines of Moria anywhere!
Lego The Lord of the Rings is due out in the fall of 2012. Let the Legolas puns begin!
