British actor, writer and comedian David Mitchell is one of my favourite comics working today! Alongside his partner in comedy Robert Webb, Mitchell has created some of my favourite comedic works of recent years, including their sketch shows The Mitchell and Webb Situation, That Mitchell and Webb Sound, and That Mitchell and Webb Look – all of which are brilliant – as well as the show Peep Show – again, brilliant – and his web-based mini-series of rants David Mitchell’s Soap Box. Additionally, David Mitchell has done loads of stage work and small appearances on TV series such as Bruiser, Comedy Lab, Fun at the Funeral Parlour, Phineas and Ferb, and The Bleak Old Shop of Stuff. He’s also co-starred in the film Magicians alongside Robert Webb. David Mitchell turns 38 today.
