I hesitate to label Andy Milder as a character actor, but writing his bio, I definitely said “Oh THAT guy!” when I realized who he was. Milder has been acting in film and television since 1991, when he played a small role on the TV series Empty Nest. Since then, he has appeared on shows such as Married with Children, Murphy Brown, NYPD Blue, Fame L.A., the unfortunately short-lived G vs. E, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The West Wing, Yes Dear, CSI: NY, Six Feet Under, Ballroom Bootcamp, Ugly Betty, 7th Heaven, Bones, Parks and Recreation, Criminal Minds, Austin & Ally, and, perhaps most famously, Weeds.
Milder has also done a fair amount of movie work, having acted in such notable films as Apollo 13, Armageddon, Transformers, Domino, Frost/Nixon, Seven Pounds, and The Artist. What’s more, Milder has also performed an extensive amount of voice work in films and TV, with credits including Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Legion of Superheroes, The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue, and the video games Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, SWAT 4, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Star Trek: Elite Force II, and Dead Space. Andy Milder turns 44 today.
