Elden Henson (also known as Elden Ryan and Elden Ratliff) has been in show business his whole life, starting off as a baby model when he was only two years old. By six, he was acting in commercials and on episodes of As the World Turns and later in an episode of Amazing Stories. He made his film debut doing voice work for Jaws: The Revenge, of all things, and made his live film debut in Turner & Hooch. In 1992, Henson got his big break when he played Fulton Reed in the trilogy of Mighty Ducks movies for Disney.
I remember thinking he looked way older than me when I saw those movies…was I ever that young? Following the success of the Mighty Ducks movies, Henson appeared in The Mighty, She’s All That, Idle Hands, Cast Away, O, Dumber and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, Under the Tuscan Sun, Deja Vu, Lords of Dogtown, and The Butterfly Effect. He has also played roles on TV shows such as Law & Order: SVU, ER, and Grey’s Anatomy. Elden Henson turns 35 today.
