Well, this is certainly an interesting way to promote your product. In this commercial from her native Australia, an unknown Naomi Watts plays a woman who wins a contest where she’ll get to go on a date with Tom Cruise. However, she blows the date off because… um, her mother is cooking a roast lamb that night. Well, since Naomi Watts is actually a devout vegetarian in real life, this scenario doesn’t seem too plausible, but then again, maybe Tom would have just used the whole date to try and recruit her into Scientology.
