A UN employee racing against time and fate travels the world trying to stop a growing zombie pandemic.
After its numerous production delays, rewrites, and reshoots, I never really had any hope that World War Z would turn out well. I love the Max Brooks book that shares its name with the film…but now that I’ve seen the trailer, it looks like that’s where the similarities end. And lemme tell ya: the movie looks TERRIBLE. I think director Marc Forster took the phrase “waves of the undead” a bit too literally here, as the zombie hordes act a lot like…ants? This looks like the Battle: Los Angeles of zombie flicks. I’ll wait for a rental, thanks.
