Patricia Wettig has been acting professionally since the early 1980s and is primarily known for her work in television, having appeared on TV shows such as Remington Steele, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, L.A. Law, thirtysomething (a role which won her two Emmys and a Golden Globe), Courthouse, L.A. Doctors, The Practice, Breaking News, Frasier, Alias, Prison Break, and Brothers & Sisters. She has also appeared in several made-for-TV movies, including Parallel Lives, Kansas, and The Langoliers, and in big-screen films such as City Slickers, City Slickers 2: The Legend of Curly’s Gold, Bongwater, and Guilty by Suspicion. She turns 61 today.
