Before They Were Stars: Mike Myers on “The Littlest Hobo”

Given Mike Myers’ Canadian roots, I guess it’s only natural that he would have started out his career by appearing in an episode of The Littlest Hobo. The 16-year old Myers plays the friend of a wheelchair-bound boy who is encouraged by the dog to enter a frisbee-tossing competition in spite of the objections of his overprotective father (who seems to feel that frisbee-tossing is dangerous… I guess). As if this episode wasn’t Canadian enough, legendary Canuck wrestler Whipper Billy Watson shows up as the special guest celebrity judge of the frisbee-tossing contest! I have to say that Mike Myers’ wooden line readings are HILARIOUSLY bad here and probably funnier than anything in The Love Guru.
