Eddie Redmayne began his professional acting career in a stage production of Twelfth Night in 2002, and he is only now coming to prominence in the world of film. Redmayne made his television debut in an episode of the series Doctors, and made his film debut in 2006’s Like Minds. Other notable credits on Redmayne’s resume include The Good Shepherd, Savage Grace, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, The Other Boleyn Girl, My Week with Marilyn, and Les Miserables. He has also starred in the mini-series Tess of the D’Urbervilles and The Pillars of the Earth, but my favourite Eddie Redmayne role so far was one of the first things I wrote about on The Back Row – he played Osmund in Christopher Smith’s Black Death! Eddie Redmayne turns 31 today.
