Bill Bixby is one of the most iconic TV actors of the 1970s and 80s, having appeared in over 70 different television titles. One of his earliest roles on the series My Favorite Martian made him popular, Bixby would go on to appear on The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, Night Gallery, The Magician, Ironside, and most famous as David Bruce Banner on The Incredible Hulk. Bixby also appeared in a handful of film roles, such as in The Apple Dumpling Gang, but it was the Hulk that made him famous, along with his co-star Lou Ferrigno. Bill Bixby died of cancer on November 21, 1993. He was 59.
