Before They Were Stars: Joel McHale on “Bill Nye the Science Guy”

I’ve previously showcased Joel McHale’s humble beginnings as a cast member on Almost Live!, a sketch comedy series which aired out of Seattle for 15 years. Another prominent entertainment figure who got his start as a cast member on Almost Live! was none other than Bill Nye. Things came full circle in 1998 after Joel left the series and wound up making in an appearance on an episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy, playing a defendant in a sketch called “The People’s Quart”.
