This is the kind of documentary that gets me excited: the story of a mysterious and hitherto unknown artist whose work is nothing short of brilliant! Vivian Maier was a secretive woman. A nanny by day and a photographer in her off hours, Vivian’s talents had never been known until collector John Maloof purchased a trunk containing hundreds of thousands of her photo negatives. After developing them, the world of artistic photography was rocked by the discovery, and so Maloof launched an investigation to find out more about this unsung genius with a camera. Looks awesome to me!
Finding Vivian Maier doesn’t have a release date yet, but is set to be completed for 2014.
