Living and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, Jack’s soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.
We’re in the final month of Oblivion‘s marketing leading up to the film’s release in April, and I must admit, I’ve actually stopped watching the trailers and commercials. My enthusiasm for the film has always hovered around the just-above-average mark. I like sci-fi, I like Morgan Freeman, I like the visual style of the movie, and even though I’m not a Tom Cruise fan, I loved Minority Report and I’m not sure it would have worked as well with anybody else in the lead. So hopefully this all means Oblivion is going to be a good time that maybe makes us think a little bit. But in order for it to get a positive review from me, I can’t have anything spoiled by the trailers. So here are a bunch of them that have piled up because I’m not watching them. But hey! You’re welcome to enjoy them. I hope they’re good.
