First off, let me just say that I’m really looking forward to Star Trek Into Darkness. It looks like more sci-fi adventure fun like the first of the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies, with everyone returning in what promises to be an awesome sequel. Now, with that out of the way, I think I have some insight into how this movie was constructed. Someone at Paramount said “We need to make Star Trek popular again. Quick, J.J., name three things that young people like!” Then Abrams said “Umm, trench coats, explosions and boobies.” And so, all three appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness. The end.
