Ellie Kendrick is one of the many young actors cast in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and thus is destined for some form of stardom as the show continues to gain popularity. Kendrick made her film debut in the TV series Waking the Dead, and also had roles on TV shows such as Doctors, In2Minds, and Prime Suspect: The Final Act. In 2009, she played Anne Frank in a TV miniseries of The Diary of Anne Frank, and also had a secondary role in the film An Education, which made a star out of Carey Mulligan. Since then, she has appeared on the TV shows Upstairs Downstairs and Being Human, but now she will always be Meera Reed on Game of Thrones to me. She turns 23 today.
