I’m seriously impressed with the marketing behind White House Down. I shouldn’t want to see this movie. In fact, I can’t think of a single Roland Emmerich film that I’ve been interested in seeing in theatres since Independence Day, so the fact that I’m not only interested but excited to see White House Down really says something about the way it’s being promoted. The marketing team for the film must have the utmost confidence in the movie, too, if they’re willing to put out a 4-minute trailer like this one. And y’know, it feels surprisingly spoiler-free. I can’t explain this, guys. This movie defies all logic and reason.
