Before They Were Stars: 9-Year Old Scarlett Johansson in “North”

Well, I’ve been waiting to post a clip of this role for quite some time. When she was nine years old, Scarlett Johansson made her acting debut in the 1994 comedy, North. This normally wouldn’t be noteworthy, except for the fact that North is one of the most critically panned movies of all time because it literally caused the late, great Roger Ebert to exclaim: “I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie.”
